Ale told me about this intriguing pasta dish from Bari.
It's called Spaghetti all'assassina.
It looks like this.

Instead of boiling, one cooks the spaghetti in thick tomato broth with a lot of peperoncino.
And it gets slightly charred. Ahh. My heart sinks for the charriness of the charred food.
